For the first time, glue has failed on me. This was Titebond's cold press veneer glue that I have used successfully hundreds of times. The bottle was in date. To say I am miffed is something of an understatement: I am out of the commercial Red Gum veneer I was using here, and using it as tinder for starting the living room fire isn't quite putting it to best use.

Nothing is more expensive in this "business" than having to do something twice, and this will cost me in the region of $2000 to re-do.
